Freshly resurfaced and a new pilot bearing, all for less than $100!! Once I get the needle bearings and shifter bushings replaced, it’s time to put everything back together!

Is that recessed line going around the friction surface a built-in machining limit indicator?  If so, that is the most gloriously German thing I’ve seen at least in the last few weeks.
